Art I students are finishing up their second project: Words of Kindness Collage. Students learned about the artist Romare Bearden, discussed segregation, and learned about collage, the 2/3rds rule, composition, focal point and complementary colors. We will be sending the final collages to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Students are doing a wonderful job incorporating meaningful text and quotes into their collages.
