"Ceramics I" by Swaan Produkties

Ceramics 1 from Swaan Produkties on Vimeo.

This short video starts off with a quick demonstration of wedging, then shows the artist sculpting and ends with images of six other sculptures! It's always beneficial to view the different techniques of artists, and this film in particular is wonderful.

Form, texture, negative and positive space...

The camera observes closely how Alexandra Engelfriet molds pieces of clay into an object of art. The video is shot in her studio in France.

Interesting "morph" video/slideshow. See if you can pinpoint not only different artists and artwork, but different times in history and art movements.
